Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Hollywood Career is Over – Three Projects Cancelled

Things just keep getting worse for Arnold.

First, he announced his 25 year marriage with Maria Shriver was over.

Next he admitted to an affair with an ex-housekeeper and fathering a love child that is now 13-years-old.

And now Hollywood is putting the brakes on his future movie career.

Arnold’s damage control firm released a statement yesterday saying,

“At the request of Arnold Schwarzenegger we asked Creative Artists Agency to inform all his motion picture projects currently underway or being negotiated to stop planning until further notice. Mr. Schwarzenegger is focusing on personal matters and is not willing to commit to any production schedules or timelines. We will resume discussions when Governor Schwarzenegger decides.”

From what we hear it was not as much a matter of Arnold bowing out, but rather the studios pulling the plug on the actor because of his current “personal matters”.

In fact, Arnold had several big deals in the works including a return to his role in a “Terminator” sequel. It was a sure thing and studios were lining up to make it happen. Not anymore.

Arnold had also entered into a deal with comic book legend Stan Lee to produce a television series called “The Governator” lending his voice talents to the lead crime fighting character. Unfortunately, the series was to show Arnold fighting crime with the help of his wife Maria and their four children. Awkward.

A rep says,

"In light of recent events, A Squared Entertainment, POW, Stan Lee Comics, and Archie Comics, have chosen to not go forward with the Governator project."

Another project that has now been taken off the table is “Cry Macho”, about a retired horse trainer who gets caught up in an international kidnapping scheme.

The film was written by Richard Nash, and was to be directed by Brad Furman, and produced by Bill Block and Albert Ruddy - but not anymore.

The other movie deal in the works was “The Last Stand”, where Arnold would have played a sheriff chasing a drug cartel leader who busts out of a courthouse and runs for the Mexico border.

This film was written by Andrew Knauer and scheduled to be directed by Jee-woon Kim.

Both movie projects were in pre-production with filming to start in 2011-2012 with a release date of late 2012 or early 2013.

Nobody is saying for sure that these projects will NEVER happen, just that they have been taken off the table “until sometime in the future”.

If things blow over for Arnold I suspect we could see him wiggle back in to the movie biz, but if the public (and Hollywood) turn on him then it’s over.

Hasta la vista, baby

Arnold Schwarzenegger Boned a Chick Named Mildred?!?

By now, we all know that Arnold Schwarzenegger and his wife of 25 years, Maria Shriver, have separated (although no official legal action has been taken, as of yet).

Dunzo
We also know that the reason for their split was the fact that Arnie fathered an “illegitimate” child 14 years ago (Props to everyone involved for keeping this under wraps for such a long time. Secrets are hard!).

The mother of this bastard baby is a woman named Mildred Patricia Baena, who worked as housekeeper and assistant for the Schwarzenegger family for more than twenty years. 20 YEARS!

Mildred just retired from her post as homewrecker housekeeper this past January. Since she jumped off the bridge before it ignited in flames and crumbled to the rushing river beneath it, she even received a severance package. A SEVERANCE PACKAGE!

Aren’t facts fun? Another fun fact: Maria Shriver was pregnant with her and Arnold’s youngest son, Christopher, at the same time that Mildred Baena was carrying Schwarzenegger’s love child. THE SAME TIME!

The thing I can’t get past, is the fact that Schwarzenegger cheated on his wife, and mother of his children, with a woman named Mildred. Mildred! Really? Come on, Arnie, her name is MILDRED! As if that weren’t bad enough, here’s a picture of the homely homewrecker (taken from her MySpace page. Who still has a MySpace page? Apparently, people named Mildred do):
Hot damn! That’s a whole lotta woman!
According to Mildred’s MySpace page, she goes by “Patty”. That's definitely better than Mildred. Blech. Here are some other fun facts about Mildred “Patty” Baena:

Here's a screen shot of Mildred Baena's MySpace profile (I'm quite worried it will soon be deleted):
(UPDATE: Mildred's MySpace page was deleted, sometime late May 19, or early May 20)

Check it out: Mildred has 1 friend. You go, girl!
(Click to zoom & check out the full shenanigans)

Arnold's 17-year-old son, Patrick Arnold Scwarzenegger has recently changed his name on Twitter, from "Patrick Schwarzenegger," to "Patrick Shriver"... obviously, the kids are on mom's side.

Adding insult to injury, Maria Shriver, who has been bosom buddies with Oprah for more than 30 years, made an appearance for the taping of Oprah's final show, where, according to TMZ, insinuating comments were made, supposedly directed at Arnold. Ba-zing!

Poor Arnie, all alone in this cruel world.

I’m sure Arnie now thinks of Mildred as the "Baena" of his existence.
(Hardy har har)

*Special Note: I do feel for the poor kids involved in all of this. Especially Ms. Baena's son. He didn't ask for any of this, and I'm sure he's having a brutal time. Let us take a moment of silence to focus happy thoughts towards him.

Arnold Schwarzenegger and Wife Maria Shriver Announce Separation

I guess we’re going to have to file this one under “Didn’t see that one coming”.

After 25 years of marriage, the ex-Governor of California and “terminator” star Arnold Schwarzenegger, 63, has separated from his wife Maria Shriver.

In a statement released to the media the ex-couple said,

"This has been a time of great personal and professional transition for each of us. After a great deal of thought, reflection, discussion, and prayer, we came to this decision together. We are continuing to parent our four children together. They are the light and the center of both of our lives. We consider this a private matter, and neither we nor any of our friends or family will have further comment. We ask for compassion and respect from the media and the public."

We do know that Arnold is getting back into the movies and already has two productions underway with “The Last Stand” and “Cry Macho”.

“Cry Macho” is about retired horse trainer who gets caught up in an international kidnapping scheme.

“The Last Stand” is about a drug cartel leader who busts out of a courthouse and flees to Mexico where the only thing in his path is a sheriff (Arnold) and his staff.

Arnold has also told insiders that he wants to do another “Terminator” movie.

Maria Shriver worked for NBC as a journalist and is active in several charity organizations. Maria’s mother was the sister of assassinated U.S. President John F. Kennedy .

Here is an interesting fact:

During Arnold’s two terms in office the couple never lived together and Arnold commuted to Sacramento by private jet. The couple spent weeks not seeing each other and were frequently on opposite coasts.

Maybe we should have seen this one coming, or maybe we just didn’t want to believe it.

The Week In Politics

Arnold Schwarzenegger and his wife of 25 years, Maria Shriver, have separated!

OMG. Not surprising at all. I can't believe it's lasted as long as it has. Or that the relationship formed in the first place. A hardcore democrat, with a hardcore republican? That's just asking for trouble.*

In other political news...

Illinois Congressman Aaron Schock is "schockingly" sexy.
Check that out!

Men's Health named Mr. Schock "America's Fittest Congressman," which, if you think about it,  can't really be a very hard title to nab. Especially given the fact that Schock is currently the youngest U.S. representative, and the only one still in his 20's (until May 29, at least).

Still though, not bad. Not bad at all. I'd bone for sure.

Take a look at Aaron Schock's competition. New York Congressman, Jerrold Nadler:
Looks like the competition is definitely fierce!**

*Ok, maybe Schwarzenegger isn't a "hardcore" Republican... I just like to be a little dramatic.
**Jerry may or may not have lost weight since being captured in this stunning photograph. It is from 2007. But once a fatty, always a fatty. - Wise words of the day. My gift to you. You're welcome.
