Video - Justin Bieber Talks About His New Album – Producers Talk New Strategy

Justin Bieber is preparing his third studio album expected to drop sometime this November.

After the runaway success of his My World and remix EP’s, the stakes couldn’t be higher.

In fact, some insiders say that his new album titled “Believe” will be a defining moment for the young pop singer as his fans have grown older and are looking for more mature music.

Bieber told MTV last week at his “Someday” event at Macys,

“I want to work a lot with myself. And I want to write a lot myself. I will be working with a lot of other producers and stuff like that, but I’m just writing a lot, and I wrote a lot on tour. I'm writing about how I feel. I’ve been really into it and, hopefully, this next album will be huge.”

And the stakes are high for the superstar.

Insiders say his current fans have begun to tire of the “Baby” and “One Less Lonely Girl” type music and are looking for more mature vibes from the singer – think Justin Timberlake.

Remember “MMMBop” by Hanson? Heard it lately?

Justin needs to produce a record of NEW songs and not just rehash the old ones he already has with remixes and collaborations with hip hop stars.

He needs to bring his existing fans along for the ride, but also appeal to the 18-25 year old market. If this album flops, many think it may spell the end of his miraculous run.

MTV’s Jim Jonsin, who is currently working with Justin on his new album, says,

"For Bieber, I think I want to reach back to New Edition, those days. I want to try to do something like that - 'Please Don't Go Girl,' New Kids on the Block style - because the girls would go crazy. He needs a little bit of soul, R&B, and pop as well."

Watch Jim Jonsin talk about Justin's New Album

InfoStar can think of lots of New Kids on the Block, New Edition, or Kelly Rowland tunes that we think would suit Justin very well. But that’s not new material – and that’s what he needs now more than ever.

One message that seems to be heard loud and clear from his current fans is NO MORE RAP OR HIP HOP.

And insiders agree.

Many feel if Bieber strays to close to Chris Brown, 50 Cent, Kanye or Diddy, it will backfire big time with his fans. Just ask any Belieber you know and they will tell you they don’t want him to move into doing hip hop.

But it may be too late.

Some of his fans say that Bieber has changed as he has grown older and they don’t like what they see anymore.

After inking several new tattoos this spring, and his music video collaboration with Chris Brown on “Next 2 You”, his fans are starting to look for a new star to throw their fan power and purchasing muscle behind.

“This is natural. Artists grow and so do their fans. The trick is to not change too much while bringing new, more mature music to the scene. If you move in a direction your fans don’t like it can be over for you as quick as it started.”

Somehow we suspect Bieber will pull off another great album.

There are too many white hot song writers and producers willing to help make sure the new album is the best it can be. There is a lot riding on it for a whole lot of people so we’re pretty sure they will get it right.

“This is a make or break album for Bieber. He can’t get away with singing ‘Baby’ forever and his fans need new material. But he absolutely has to transition into a more mature genre without alienating his existing fans while at the same time bringing in new 18-25 year old fans. Producers have to find new fans who will fall in love with new Justin Bieber songs.”

And hey, if this music thing doesn’t work out for him he can still retire with what he already has – three albums, hit 3D movie, Someday Perfume, and every other merchandise tie-in you can imagine.

We think he’ll do the right thing.

MTV to Jersey Shore Cast – “You’re Fired” – Plans to Completely Recast for Season 6

Huge news America!

News is leaking out that MTV plans to completely recast the players on their popular terrible series “Jersey Shore.”

Several sources including TMZ and US Weekly are saying that MTV wants a totally new, young, and fresh cast when they start filming season 6.

The current group of Jersey Shore stars knuckleheads has just returned from Florence Italy where they completed season 4, and are under lockdown until they start filming season 5 next Monday here in the U.S.

But once season 5 is complete we can say goodbye to Snooki, JWoww, Pauley D, Mike “The Situation”, Ronnie, Sammi, Vinny and Angelena!

While this move may be great for America, it may also be good for MTV, as one insider says that the new cast will make far less than the $100,000 per episode that the current cast makes.

Also, MTV has secured the rights for at least three spinoffs currently under contract for the three breakout stars Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, Jenni "J-Woww" Farley and Paul "DJ Pauly D" DelVecchio.

“These three have already made deals for their own shows and MTV will produce and direct them giving them longevity and cash flow. By bringing in a new cast they can cultivate them for a few seasons and keep the Jersey Shore phenomenon going for as long as they want – or for as long as the viewers will watch that kind of stuff.”

It also lets MTV jettison the dead wood that has started to bog the series down – like Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino.

“The deal between Mike and his Dad Frank Sorrentino has really put a damper on Mike’s ability to continue on the show. And after Mikes terrible appearance on the Donald Trump roast he proved he can only do one thing – and that’s be a Guido.”

A new cast will also give the network the ability to craft a different kind of contract with the new housemates that will prevent some of the problems of the past seasons.

The existing contract allowed the current cast to stonewall and demand more and more money. It also allowed them to pursue outside business opportunities that frequently caused friction and scheduling problems for producers.

With a new cast comes a new contract - and the opportunity for MTV to make it a little more restrictive now that the series is established.

So, we say good riddance to this cast, but leave you with a cautionary reminder…..

What if the new cast is worse than the first?

Anybody who has ever watched the television show “Jackass” knew who Ryan Dunn was.

Last night, the 34 year old was killed in a fatal car crash near West Goshen Township in Pennsylvania.

News reports say Dunn, and another passenger, were killed around 3:30 am Monday morning. His death was confirmed by Bam Margera's mother according to TMZ.

Dunn’s 2007 Porsche 911 GT3 apparently lost control and smashed into a guard rail before ending up in the woods and bursting into flames.

Friends say Ryan was drinking at a local bar before getting behind the wheel and downed at least 3 beers and 3 shots of hard liquor before leaving.

Video - Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis Group Each Other at MTV Awards

The MTV Movie Awards are famous for their controversial moments.

From Borat butt-kissing Eminem, to fights and drunken celebrities, there is very little we haven’t already seen.

And the 2011 MTV Movie Awards were no different.

Before Robert Pattinson dropped the F-Bomb while presenting Reese Witherspoon her Generation Award, Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis pulled their own little stunt to grab attention - and each other!

Related: Robert Pattinson Drops F-Bomb on MTV Awards – Video

Kunis and Timberlake were on stage to present the “Best Male Performance” award when they started talking about how much they liked each other.

While the two celebs are starring in the upcoming “Friends with Benefits”, they proceeded to tell the audience that in real life they are more like brother and sister.

Timberlake said, “That’s why I can do this…”, and proceeded to grab Mila’s breasts.

Not to be outdone by the “Social Network” star, she grabbed Timberlake’s crotch and held on for dear life.

No harm no foul. It was a funny moment and nothing more. There is no need for the Network censor police to start hurling accusations of improper anything.

It was comedy.

Timberlake is currently putting the finishing touches on his latest movie project “Bad Teacher”, starring Cameron Diaz and Jason Segel - a comedy centered on a foul-mouthed, junior high teacher who, after being dumped by her sugar daddy, begins to pursue a colleague.

Mila Kunis is also busy filming “Ted”, written and directed by funnyman Seth MacFarlane and starring Kunis, Mark Wahlberg, Patrick Warburton and Jessica Stroup. “Ted” is a story centered on a man and his teddy bear, which comes to life as the result of a childhood wish.

MacFarlane, in addition to his duties with Family Guy and American Dad has also been given the green light to create a new Flintstones series for Fox.

Robert Pattinson Drops the F-Word on MTV Music Awards - Video

Twilight star Robert Pattinson cleaned up at the MTV Music Awards last night.

But he the networks steaming when the censors couldn’t get to the bleep button fast enough.

Pattinson was on stage with Chelsea Handler presenting the MTV Generation Award to Reese Witherspoon when he dropped the F-Bomb on live television.

While this is not a totally unexpected event at the MTV Awards, but the network was slow to catch it and it broadcast the F-word live on the East Coast feed. A network rep said,

"It was unexpected, and was a technical glitch in not catching it. It won’t be in West Coast feed or any repeats."

Robert was talking to Reese about their first movie together where Witherspoon played his mother and the director’s cut out many of his scenes.

When talking about their collaboration in “Water for Elephants”, Pattinson said, “In this movie I played your lover. I didn’t cut you out but I did f**k you.”

Witherspoon told the audience later in the evening that today’s young Hollywood actors don’t need to release sex tapes and nude photos to find success, and that “Being Good” is okay and said more celebs should think about that.

Kudos Reese, and congrats on the big award.

Frank ‘The Confrontation’ Sorrentino Videos – We Smell a Rat – A Big Fat Guido Rat

Okay, most of us have seen one of Frank Sorrentino’s videos by now.

Or at least you have probably heard about them.

Frank “The Confrontation” Sorrentino, father of Jersey Shore star Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino has just released a series of videos bashing his son.

And he holds back nothing - dropping the F-bomb every three seconds and saying some of the most hurtful things a father could say about his son.

Related: Frank Sorrentino Videos bash his son Mike

But after watching all the videos, and reading the press release on his web site, we smell a rat - a bag fat Guido rat.

Here is InfoStar’s theory;

We think this is a well-choreographed Guido move, and that both Mike and Frank know exactly what is going on and are in this together to pull out the $$$.

And we think MTV is right smack in the middle of it all.

Mike “The Situation” is currently on location in Italy starting his third season filming for Jersey Shore. He has already announced his own spin-off show but details are lacking and it’s at least a year out.

His father, Frank “The Confrontation” Sorrentino, is shopping a six figure book deal described in a press release as follows:

“MTV’s Jersey Shore Star, 'Mike Sorrentino – The Situation', to be subject of tell-all book, e-book, and YouTube series by estranged father. 'Confrontation With Situation' to be publicized on a global scale. Rights of printed book, e-book, and mobile book offered for sale. Rights for the printed book, digital book, and mobile book are currently being offered on a country and regional basis”.

The press release mentions Mr. Robert Fletcher, the CEO of Strategic Book Publishing & Rights Agency, a US book marketing, literary agency, and rights company who has been chosen to handle the rights sales and manage the digital marketing efforts.

Okay, follow our logic here.

Put all this bad blood press out there between the two, and let blogs like InfoStar and TMZ chew on it for a while creating a media buzz. Let things blow up in the press with speculation until it looks like there is no way the estranged father and son could ever reconcile and then….. wait for it…….

“MTV announces ‘Confrontation with Situation’ – The explosive last chance reality show for two estranged family members to reconcile and find peace and love again. Based on the best-selling book by Frank Sorrentino.

MTV gives Mike and Frank Sorrentino one last chance to reconcile their relationship – in front of our cameras, in full Guido fashion, for the whole world to see. Can they succeed? Will the family be torn apart forever? Tune in Monday nights to watch ‘Confrontation with Situation.’”

We think the book deal and spin-off show news release is a precursor to MTV creating a REALITY SHOW starring both Mike and Frank Sorrentino under the title, “Confrontation with Situation”.

We knew something didn’t smell right when Mike didn’t say a word about the videos, not even one press release. And Frank looks awfully comfortable in the videos with his granite counters and bottles of wine.

Do you smell a rat? Can you see it? Would you watch it?

The 'Situations' Dad Talks about Mike’s Sex Tape Problems – Video

This is starting to look like a mafia hit gone viral.

Frank “The Confrontation” Sorrentino, the father of Jersey Shore star Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, has released a series of videos bashing his son.

Nothing seems to be off limits.

Frank talks about Mike losing a job because of a B.J., and then filing sexual discrimination charges, wrecking every car he ever had, loosing touch once he found fame, and more.

Related: Mike Sorrentino Calls his son f#cking loser – Video

Now things have really gotten ugly with Frank's candid discussion of a sex tape problem he had when "The Situation" was only 17-years-old.

But what seemed to start as a father telling his son “Don’t forget where you came from”, has now turned into a series of curse filled rants about everything from school projects to pulling a 9MM gun on some loan sharks.

We know Frank is trying to sell a book, but dumping on your kid like this seems like a pretty sleazy way to get attention.

The latest video “hit job” is regarding a sex tape Mike made with a girlfriend while still a teenager and the lengths his dad Frank went to “solve” the problem.

Frank Sorrentino Talks “Situation” Sex Tape

I don’t know what to make of all this yet. But we did like watching Frank bash the cast of Jersey Shore, and we are all learning a lot of new words that sound like they’re from the Godfather.

There is also the chance we are falling for a stunt.

This could all be a well-crafted Guido move to get the old man a few bucks. After all, we know Frank Sorrentino is trying to sell a book and has been shopping his videos around various news organizations.

What do you think? Stunt or father gone off the deep end?

MTV Orders Spinoffs with Jersey Shore Stars Snooki, JWoww & Pauly D – Say it Ain’t So!

Ah man, I thought this whole Jersey Shore and Snooki thing was just going to be a flash in the pan and would eventually fade away into the great unwashed of television history.

But I was wrong. How could I have been so wrong?

It seems that MTV has ordered up two new reality shows starring Snooki, Pauly D, and JWoww. MTV is betting that viewers of the infamous “Jersey Shore” cast will follow them into their new “situations”.

MTV folks told the press,

“For the Snooki and JWoww show, viewers will get to see how they deal with life and love when the vacation is over in this 12-episode series. The locale may be different, but the friendship is sure to remain the same.”

This sounds like an absolute train wreck just waiting to happen. But it gets worse,

“Pauly D’s jet-setting and often hilarious life on the road as one of the country’s most in-demand DJs trying to become one of the world’s most successful and recognized names in music. Viewers will get to see Pauly D chase his dream with the help of the best friends he grew up with in Rhode Island by his side.”

Are you serious? Can this actually be allowed to happen? Aren’t there agencies out there that are supposed to stop these kinds of things from happening?

It is a sad day my friends.

Nude Snooki Photos Surface On The Web

Well, it should not really be a surprise.

We knew it was only a matter of time before either a sex tape or nude pictures started to turn up of the cast of "Jersey Shore".

We can thank Snooki for starting things off with a bang!

But hold on.

We suspect this should all be taken with a grain of salt. Even though the website NakedSnookie.com claims to show the first official leaked photo, there is probably a pretty good chance it is a fake.

The Jersey Shore actress, whose real name is Nicole Polizzi, claims on her Twitter account that there have never been any nude photos taken of her.

But a new craze is about to hit the airwaves my friends. You just watch…

In a never-ending cycle to promote in every way possible, there will soon be a wave of nude picture sightings, bathroom wardrobe malfunctions, cell phone misunderstandings, and six-pack mishaps flooding our airwaves.

If you still don't understand the craze that is "Jersey Shore", then the full episode video below will show exactly why everybody hates it. You will hate it too.

Britney Spears To Headline MTV Video Music Awards

On again, off again. Maybe she will, maybe she won't.

Even after her dreadful appearance on the MTV Video Music Awards last year, MTV has made it official - Britney Spears will headline the Award show again this year.

But there will be no singing and dancing for Britney. Instead, executives have confirmed Brit's performance will be something "fun and unexpected" - no more details were given.

Spears performance last year embarrassed the network, and herself, as the troubled singer tried to make a comeback with her "Gimme More" song and dance routine. The reviews and press were brutal, criticizing MTV for allowing the performance to go on at all.

But, over the last few months, Spears seems to have cleaned herself up and is back on her game. Her dad is still in control of her money and other personal affairs by playing the role of legal conservator, but the judge seems to be loosening the rope around the pop icon.

MTV also alluded to the possibility of another appearance by an aging and troubled singer - Michael Jackson. Now, we're no Hollywood writers, but if you combined Britney Spears and Michael Jackson in a humorous skit where they openly lampooned themselves, recognizing the media saturation of their lives, it could be pretty funny.
