Rise of the Planet of the Apes - The Comic Con Teaser

“Rise of the Planet of the Apes” introduces the latest in capture performance technology creating unprecedented CGI apes with a compelling cautionary tale starring James Franco, Freida Pinto, Andy Serkis, John Lithgow and Tom Felton.

James Franco plays brilliant scientist Will Rodman who inadvertently creates a chimp with human-like characteristics and intelligence. He falls in love with a primatologist played by Freida Pinto and the couple raise Caesar the chimp, as their child. Big problems set in when Caesar grows up and realizes that the primates are being dominated by humans. Pitting apes against mankind, Caesar along with the other chimps seek to gain power as the end of civilization approaches.

“Rise of the Planet of the Apes” opens August 4 in theaters nationwide from 20th Century Fox.
